                                       About Me!

Greetings, and welcome to tips, trips, and resources~ my counseling blog! My name is Krystal and I am a professional school counselor. I have been a school counselor for six years, but in education for eleven. I started out as an instructional assistant in 2009. I became a teacher in 2011 and taught grades first, third, and fourth. I decided to get my Master’s Degree in School Counseling in 2014 and In December 2019, became a Nationally Certified School Counselor.

I am a mom of two very energetic boys, both under the age of five! I cannot live without my three C’s: Coffee, Cheez-its, and Cheese; no particular order. Oh, yeah~ Pumpkin spice is food for my soul.

Throughout my journey as a school counselor, I have had the chance to meet different children who see the world through a certain lens. As a way for me to build relationships and stay connected, I found myself constantly looking for material that is simple to teach and easy to grasp. Through trial and error, I have found some tips, tricks, and resources that worked for me and will hopefully work for you!
